Welcome to 2nd Grade!

During second grade, students will experience significant social and academic growth. We strive to provide a fun, engaging, nurturing, and enriching atmosphere where every student fulfills their unique potential. Our vision is that each second grader can grow into a successful independent learner by the end of the year, that is ready for the challenges that 3rd grade will bring.

The core curriculum for elementary-aged students is grounded in Minnesota state standards with a focus on math, science, social studies and English-language arts/literacy. The language arts curriculum encompasses the areas of literature, informative texts, writing, speaking, viewing, listening, media literacy and language skills.
